Yes, its hypocricy but we all do it sometimes. Its far easier to forgive the negative actions of someone you like, than someone you don't.

Its just the way things are, and I do take your point but it will never change.

Well.. I suppose it's hard to get completely righteous without knowing the full facts of this 'relationship' he has on the outside.

If it is a relationship and he went in there with a GF, then naturally what he has done is wrong and if it bites him on the arse then.. oh well.

I have some sympathy for him because he basically lost his bliddy mind on the back of empty words and gestures. I think he genuinely liked her and she was using him.

I think he genuinely liked her too, though I cannot support Siavash's actions in respest of Marcus! He knew his Friend fancied her yet still went in for the kill! I know Marcus is a stalking creep as well, but not nice for a mate to shit on you!

It is quite amazing at all the criticism that was levelled at Noirin about her relatiosnhip antics when she didn't have a boyfriend and she made it clear to Marcus she wasn't interested. Yet Siavash pursues Noirin and most definitely did have a girlfriend of some 7 months according to friends and completely denies her existence, saying he dishonestly gave her girlfriend status in the house as a means of fending off potential relationships in the house. Somehow delusional and irrational types see Noirin as the offender in all this.

I think Siavash's attempts to deny the existence of this woman in an attempt to woo Noirin was far worse than anything Noirin has done. It really is quite a piece of dishonesty. Her only semi-dishonest act was to behave like some sort of girlfriend to Siavash in the house when she wanted just a platonic relationship, and she only did that out of guilt over encouraging his initial advances.

That is totally how I see it too, and thanks for putting into words what I've been thinking since this all blew up. Boys that my mates fancy, or have been out with are just soooooo off limits to me! You just don't 'go' there, and Siavash did. And as much as I feel for him having been bitten, I also feel for Marcus who also hurt despite the fact that his feelings were more about a passion unrequited.

TBH, Marcus had a lucky escape and has snapped back now. Siavash on the other hand might not recover quite so quickly having had 'a bite of the forbidden fruit' and investing so much of himself in doing so

Marcus has not recovered at all.

His is bursting with resentment and anger and his reported pleasure at Siavash's comeuppance is further illustration of this.

Early on in the show, Siavash pretended to have a girlfriend, so that he would not get involved with anyone in the show. He advised Noirin to do the same to try and put Sree off the scent.
