seriously have you been to the doctors ?

Do you use a mouse Cinds, and could you be gripping it too tight? sometimes that happens to me

I once broke my scaphoid  bone peeling potatoes  Maybe you should have it checked out Cinds. I'd never heard of it until I broke it and hardly done anything for it to happen.I had no pain in my wrist, but my thumb drove me mad.

It's my left hand onetoo (I'm right handed).

I've sniffed it gyps, it smells of deep heat.  Olbus oil last week.

My mother has gnarled arthritis hands.  This is not the first hand joint that caused me loads of pain, but this has lasted the longest.

Mr Cinds wants (just incase) me to grab his willy incase my hands freeze. Selfish to the last

Could be a lot of things, gout maybe?  Carpel tunnel, maybe, but arthritis comes in many forms...try ice packs, then heat. Ask for a blood test at your docs, it can see if inflamation is there. If your mum had "gnarled hands" it sounds rheumatoid, which can be hereditory , sorry . Plus watch your diet...no poultry, seafood. Eat lots of red fruit, especially cherries. No alchohol and drink lots of water

Cinds - just go to you doctors and get your mind put at rest - you have probably just got a strained ligament.

Thank you for the advice.  Carpel tunnel, I have had before in my wrist (15 years ago).  Maybe it is the same, all I know is it bloody nacks.

That's what I keep thinking, one of my fingers has twisted recently.  It didn't hurt, like my thumb does.

I will put my nurses uniform on and bring a bottle.
