Don't get me wrong, I really didn't expect it but maybe she just thought okay I've listened to her going on and on about being unhappy and not having a role and blah blah blah and she thought okay I'll grant your wish.

I don't see what all the fuss is about. She was threatening to walk anyway. I like Jo, but for someone who claimed to be desperately unhappy and wanting to leave and then saying in the DR hopefully I'll be out through the normal process she's making a hell of a din about being up.

If Gaga had a "like" button I would like your post about a billionty times, especially the bit I quoted.

I like Jo too but the sucking up to JJ1 and the whining about being up is plain daftness.  Pull yer socks up woman!

Prom, Jo saw Corin as a friend, I was more shocked at last week's nom than yesterday's..

Jo really warmed to Corin, She's hurt..I could see that, and did not think for one minute Corin would nominate her openly...Wait until Jo is evicted on Friday, and she will be, and realise that Corin nommed her last week, gave a piss poor reason, and was still cosying up to her and chatting to her like they were bessy mates.

On the issue of Jo wanting to go..I feel Jo was on a downer ever since Rachel2 went on Friday, she was close to Rachel too...I feel she was having a rough day and and probably did want to go in that instant, but not really want to go on the whole.

The closer we are getting to the final the more Corin and Mario's masks are slipping, they are both very determined to win, and friendship in the house is means nothing to them...Corin now to me seems like a user, Mario did more or less the same to Ben.

See, I didn't think she was bothered about being up at all.  I don't recall her mentioning it in tonight's highlights anyway.  Maybe she has on LF today, I've not been watching.  What I did witness on highlights though, was Jo being incredibly shocked after being nominated by someone she considers to be close friends with, and assumed that level of friendship was mutual.  After all Corin keeps telling Jo and Josie that "the girls need to stick together".

Corin allowed herself to be approachable to Jo, someone to confide in when she was feeling down.  I think the last thing Jo expected was for her confiding to be equated into a nomination from Corin.  That's the issue as I see it anyway.

Sorry guys I can't agree. Corin makes herself available to everyone if they are down or upset because that's the kind of person she is. I didn't notice any friendship at all between the two of them outside of the 'girls sticking together' thing which is neither here nor there when someone keeps saying they don't feel they belong and want to go home

Nope, I think she's genuine. If she was a gameplayer she would go for who she sees as competition. Whatever way you may describe Jo, a front-runner for winning BB she ain't

I just feel let down by Corin's hard faced approach, and now feel her apparent niceness wasa thin veneer to disguise her ruthless nature..
I don't think it was ruthless at all Senora. When she said 'I'll take the easy option' she meant she was choosing someone who had been saying for days they wanted to go. She explained that to Jo.

I think it's harsh to pounce on her like this. We all know most of them didn't nominate who they would have nommed in the DR. JJ up every week but not face to face? lol.

Sam has informed the house that John James has a significantly larger fan base than anyone else.  So by your theory she would put John James up.  Only problem with that is he's been up the past two weeks and survived.  As a game player, Corin will realise that nominating the favourite will angry more John James fans, than gain new fans for herself.  She would effectively be making herself a target.

No, the much easier thing to do would be nominate Jo, who has no fan base to speak of, and then make up some lousy excuse for why she chose her later on.  And by the way, the excuse was really lousy.  She said that Jo hadn't put enough effort into the endurance task the other day, where Jo, Steve, and Josie were on the roundabout.  Nothing to do with Jo wanting to leave.  And the most ridiculous thing of all, is that Steve gave up before Jo did.

Really really liked Corin, and thought she was just having fun in there!  Her claws are really coming out now, and it's not nice to see the quick and sudden turnaround of her character. She is starting to become ruthless, and her initial attractiveness is waning for me now!  There's a hardness about her, that wasn't there before, and it's not nice.

Glad someone else has noticed!
He's flying right under the radar, isn't he.

On the subject of Jo.....I think she likes a bit of drama, and she's a smart lady. She should have sussed that Corin isn't going to be her best mate after being in there for 2 weeks, but perhaps the BB environment is putting a different spin on things.

She was obviously having a bit of a wobbly moment though. If you have doubts and want to leave, even for a second, you can bet another housemate will jump on that as an excuse to nom and make it easy for themselves.

I agree.  I liked her and have proper gone off her.  Maybe it's that hideous little creep Sam who is putrid, and insults everyone, rubbing off on her.  She was OK til HE went in!  He is a poisonous little git, and insults people constantly, thinking it's funny.

Corin got the blame over Jo not wanting to do the task with Sam even  It all stemmed from Corin nominating her or so the others want to blame.

Fecking hell. she's cried for days before the nominations, if she'd bent my ear day after day about wanting to leave, I would have clonked her with the fecking thing, not tipped it on her.

I don't get what all the furore is about.  Corin made a choice which lets face it - even if you don't agree with it, wasn't entirely unprecedented in the way this game is played.  Jo left herself open to it by whinging about leaving.

Corin's a determined lady ...that's been obvious throughout from the way she attacks tasks and gives her best.  She's in the last leg of a gameshow where the prize is ÂĢ100,000 - come on!!  If she wasn't trying her best to win there would be something wrong with her, she's done the time and put the effort in ... and that prize would make a big difference to anyone!

As for her tactics .... she's made me laugh, I haven't had to listen to conniving, biatching or manipulation, she's generally positive, I've never see her be cruel or nasty, and when she's lost her temper I've always understood why.  So she's not perfect, she wants to win, and some of her decisions have made her appear less than angelic - ermmm no problem to me.  It's BB I'm watching not Angelic Factor.

 Corin to win!

Corin nominating Jo is casing quite a bit of a stir on here, to be honest Jo said to her on a few occasions she wanted to to go so maybe she just thought if you want to go that bad I'll nominate you rather than someone who wants to stay. I do wonder why Josie isn't getting the same level of criticism after all she nommed one of her best mates.

That's what we've been trying to say Menty, they had to wait for her coming out the diary room yet again wanting to go home, before they could even start the nominations. If she had nominated Andrew instead and Jo had walked, the forum would have been up in arms saying she should have nominated Jo because she told her time enough she wanted to go

Corin took 23 mins to nom someone she had nomed the week before!
I know she made an absolute meal out of that situation. The crying was the final nail in the coffin for me. Strident little Corin who goes to the DR each week, not a bother on her choosing two housemates without a tear in sight.  Gone off her big time.

Absolutely Fairfax.

Mind you, most of them seemed to be "upset" about having to do it f2f, but seem to relish it in the DR.  Dave was the only one who really seemed to enjoy the f2f noms.
