Actually thinking about the OP I would say that it has become compulsory to continue with the villification of MJ because his detractors want him to be GUILTY. In a Court of Law he was pronounced NOT GUILTY. There was no evidence, he was innocent, I know it is hard for you to get your head round it but he was NOT GUILTY.

Beyond Reasonable Doubt.

On it is based our entire system. Disappointed

Is that juror now sleeping with da fishes? Ninja

It depends what made them so sure, the words coming from the kids themselves, or from some ex employee out for a grudge.

But you're right, the fact that some one has been found 'not guilty' doesn't necessarily mean they didn't do it. There's a famous case in Ireland in the 70's I think it was where the man was acquitted because in order for there to have been an assault the child needed to have been in fear. The child said in her evidence she didn't fear the man, therefore there was no assault and he was acquitted. Sad but true.

So you do have to have an open mind about these things, both in favour of MJ and against him I guess.

I don't think Michael Jackson ever had the press in his pocket. They seemed to have done their best to make his life a misery. Even now there are pictures of him on a stretcher all over the net, despite Jermaine's request for privacy *shrugs*

Presumably from the evidence they heard and were presented with in the case....to them it proved his guilt overall but not in relation to that particular kid. He did say that had the case be brought in relation to various other people the verdict would have been different.

Trust me! They have the media in their pocket, and they are working it a treat.

That's what I'm saying Croc, who was giving the evidence? Big Grin And if that's the case why didn't those other various people come forward? I remember hearing some stuff when the case was going on, but this was all evidence given by former staff members, as far as I remember.

So many who's and why's....too many really in my opinion.

Oh God don't ask me to name names! I can;t remember who and the juror did not specify other than to say they believed he was guilty of wrong doing but not in relation to the charges brought before them.

One of the things that the press have picked up on is that the father made a speech apparently (I don't know as I haven't heard it) didn't really refer to Michael in terms of him being his son but in terms of him being a global superstar.

Ohmigod, Charlie Brooker is one of the wicked people too. Wicked meaning bad here, not cool, you understand.

Look!

"I was at Glastonbury when Jacko died. That's not a factual statement, but a T-shirt slogan. The day after his death, souvenir tops with "I was at Glasto 09 when Jacko died" printed on them were already on sale around the site. In fact, when Jacko died, I was at home playing Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars on a Nintendo DSi. I am 38 years old."

The families focus seem to be lasering in on "who's to blame and who can we sue". Thus the early focus on the doctor and now the insinuation that the promoters were responsible by demanding too much from him. So unlike his loving family.
