Daniel whats your argument for his innocence

Oh lordy, I wouldn't argue for his innocence as I don't have all the facts. However, I'm inclined to think he's innocent simply because I think very rich people are often targets for the poor and he was obviously not looking after his own welfare back then. He's innocent before the law though, and that's important. I also think he was a fool for paying the first kid off because the allegations have not been properly tested in court thus allowing people to speculate more freely.

Well just make sure that you don't employ Bubbles - I hear he developed some deeply unpleasant personal habits Glance

I was thinking more along the lines of spider monkeys than chimps.

However, I refuse to call them my babies (like in that programme "My monkey baby")

I think some of the comments saying we "have" to respect Michael Jackson are slightly over the top. But having said that I do understand that he was a man who seemed to inspire great love and admiration in his fanbase.

What I am not enjoying is the gushing by the media regarding him. I was shocked when I saw the news on Thursday night and felt as I noted in a post on Friday night, that part of my youth had gone as during the 70's/80's as a child and then a teenager I had listened and danced to his music at home and at school discos as I imagine many of my generation did.
What frankly amazed me was switching on Sky news yesterday morning and finding that the Michael Jackson story was basically the only story being carried in the news and they were interviewing any old person they could find in the music business to say what a contribution he had made, yeah 20 years ago. Frankly since the events of 2005, how much have we really heard about him, not much and none of that has been positive. His last album was released in 2001 and had not been a best seller.

The abuse allegations, well we will never really know the truth, was the families concerned just out for a quick buck or was he actually guilty of the crimes he was supposed to have committed? If he was innocent, then the worst mistake I feel that he made was to have paid out a settlement in the first abuse allegations, mud sticks, even alledged mud.

Me, I feel he was a man in a childs body, who never really grew up - a real Peter Pan and I feel a certain sadness as I said earlier having grown up with his music, but the reaction of a lot of people has been for me a little over the top remembering how muuch reaction there was when John Lennon was shot in 1980. But maybe thats how things have changed over the last 29 years.

Dreaming? I rarely know if I am in reality or just in some strange matrix world.

I think I think too much.
