He is indeed, been watching MJ interviews all day how anyone can accuse him of all that baffles me makes me hate this wicked and evil world we live in where everyman is out for themselves and themselves alone.... But the family they leave behind will! I feel desperately sorry for MJ's kids and his siblings and mother. The pics of LaToyah and Jermaine I have seen in the papers are heartbreaking. When LaToyah was in the BB house she seemed a totally lovely person with not a bad bone in her body. I accept people die every day and they all leave families behind, but when someone is in the spotlight and horrid things are said about a loved one that has passed, it does make me wonder about the world we live in. The jokes started almost as soon as the poor guy was pronounced dead.quote:Originally posted by Ennis Del Beadle:quote:Originally posted by pretty~cocoa~eyes:

When I die, if anyone says I've squandered hundreds of millions of dollars of trivia, made myself look like a freak through plastic surgery, and got addicted to prescription drugs then I'm pretty sure most people who know me will laugh.

With celebrity and money comes the flip side, not everyone will love you and hold you in high esteem. People in the spotlight should accept this, as should their families.
And besides, I would imagine the Jackson family have got better things to do at the moment that trawl the internet reading what people think of MJ. Plus I doubt that any of their friends are texting them the latest MJ gags.

I said that yesterday. The 22 million they were given was 20 mill for the lad and 1 mill each for the parents.....I find that really odd. I have read today that apparently the father phoned MJ to say he knew what he had been upto and said he wanted 20 million from him, he never phoned the police first......what type of parents are these

One of the more amusing news items this morning.... They said that the family had been so worried about him that they considered seeking help. When my son was seriously ill I actually got help.
It's all very well spinning and backtracking now but it seems to me that MJ was a victim, without friends or family.

nobody really knows what went on behind the proverbial closed doors, its a case of either you believed mj or didn't, but to say because he was who he was negates the possibility of guilt may be a bit naive, would anyone let thier child share a bed with a man in his forties, for instance joe the plumber down the road, of course not, its unthinkable, then why let mj do it, was it for money, or maybe these people just thought, its micheal jackson, he wouldn't do that.......whatever you believe one thing he was guilty of was unimaginable stupidity, after he paid jordan chandler an estimated 20 million dollars...which is no small sum even for him, he still carried on taking young children into his bed. would anyone not think that someone must have said to him 'hey mike you just lost 20 million bucks by doing this, its not a good idead' or maybe someone might have said 'hey mike if you want to help kids there are myriad ways of doing it that doesn't involve sleeping with them'....like i said, i have no idea of his innocence or guilt but he was a very strange man...my words here do not reflect on micheal jackson the performer who i thought was brilliant and his death was probably a lot more of a tragedy than we know but i think it will become clearer in the weeks and months to come

with you on this one, yep he was 'talented' yes he was a pop icon, all very well IF you are interested in 'pop music' I never have been,
and for the life of me I cant understand the mass hysteria over his death, does the death of a pop star REALLY warant 2 DAYS of banket coverage by the major news channels???

Yep, thought so.
I found it very easy to express what I thought of MJ before he died...and it wasn't good....but am sitting on my hands and typing with my toes since he died.
I had zero respect for him, but understand some do ....however it's a free world folks, criticise him or laud him. But telling others how to react is futile and just adds to the disproportionate outpouring of mourn porn that we are witnessing on the news.

Im sure he is not the only Celeb to buy things with his money... Body dysmoprhic disorder is a condition suffered by many, some people have it worse than others... He started with the pain killers to numb the pain from his broken vertebra...quote:Originally posted by Daniel J*:

I do not believe he was innocent because of who he was. Like I said; it is MY opinion. Like I have always believed The McCanns had nothing whatsoever to do with the disappearance of Madeleine. I do not know them either. It is just the opinion you take of someone, going by how they come across to you personally.I also think that taking money instead of getting justice for your own child, if you truly believe such a crime was committed would not even enter your head. No matter how much you were offered.quote:Originally posted by Rekaf:quote:Originally posted by Little Miss Spurs:I saw on some thing on the internet, some idiot (I would like to use a much stronger word but will be thrown out if i do so on here!) saying MJ was "no better than Ian Huntley"!!!!!!!!!!!! That is very good analysis rekaf.....that is what I wondered sometimes, was there no one there to tell him its wrong to sleep in the same bed with children he's not related to,(even related to ...is a no no most of the time after a certain age), his brothers, mother etc.
And then all that plastic surgery....why? why? why?
He was someones son brother not everybody liked him or have to respect him and that is a very fair comment, I dont like everyone but I have more respect than to make sick jokes about them if they died, and I dont mean funny ha ha jokes I mean disgusting ones ,but we are all different I find it really sad if you dont like someone some people have to resort to this behaviour its not clever in my opinion just sad

best post since MJ died ...I have always said that I liked his music when he was with the Jackson 5 and I liked his music right up until the court case...I am not saying he was innocent and I am not saying he was guilty coz I dont personally know the man and I have no right to judge but he did fall off my pedastal and that is the only way I can describe it...and I respect the posts on here that want to respect him and I also respect the posts on here who do not respect because I respect peoples feelings wether I agree with them or not..thats the difference..accepting others views on here with respect..
Imo, one should respect death, give it time, don't think there was a demand for respect if there was, then it must be an emotional one and that should be taken into account.
I also lost my respect for him a long time ago, but I am uncomfortable with the blatant 'disrespect' for want of a better word. Same case with Jade, I did not like the woman nor respect her, but kept my mouth stump through out the process of others grieving for her.

Now THAT really made my blood boil. Completely stupid sick and above all UNTRUE thing to say!quote:Originally posted by slimfern:quote:Originally posted by Little Miss Spurs:
In my opinion it is a total tragedy. The guy was super-talented but appeared never to be truly happy. I dont believe he ever molested any children. I think if he did, no stone would have been left unturned to prove it. I know that I would not accept a penny from someone who abused one of my children, rather than go to court. I believe these people were evil and jealous and wanted a slice of what MJ had worked so hard all his life to get. He was a child himself in many ways. He never had a proper childhood so tried to create his own in later life. I also totally believed every word he uttered, when he refuted all the claims on the videos shown on tv. These are my beliefs and my beliefs only. I cannot prove if I am right or wrong. I think it was a very sad day when Michael Jackson died. He was a genuine superstar. rip MJ. XXX
I agree..the accusations were all lies.
Some folk can be really cruel when it comes to money.
MJ will be missed..
nobody really knows what went on behind the proverbial closed doors, its a case of either you believed mj or didn't, but to say because he was who he was negates the possibility of guilt may be a bit naive, would anyone let thier child share a bed with a man in his forties, for instance joe the plumber down the road, of course not, its unthinkable, then why let mj do it, was it for money, or maybe these people just thought, its micheal jackson, he wouldn't do that.......whatever you believe one thing he was guilty of was unimaginable stupidity, after he paid jordan chandler an estimated 20 million dollars...which is no small sum even for him, he still carried on taking young children into his bed. would anyone not think that someone must have said to him 'hey mike you just lost 20 million bucks by doing this, its not a good idead' or maybe someone might have said 'hey mike if you want to help kids there are myriad ways of doing it that doesn't involve sleeping with them'....like i said, i have no idea of his innocence or guilt but he was a very strange man...my words here do not reflect on micheal jackson the performer who i thought was brilliant and his death was probably a lot more of a tragedy than we know but i think it will become clearer in the weeks and months to come
yes, its your opinion and i respect that, the mccanns are different, its thier child thats gone missing, but i accept the point about believing someone or not, but my point about fame....in this case....still stands, if joe the plumber from 3 streets away had behaved in the same way, would he be allowed to do it again, i think not......as to your last point about accepting money if you believed your child was a victim, i agree with you completely....

That is very good analysis rekaf.....that is what I wondered sometimes, was there no one there to tell him its wrong to sleep in the same bed with children he's not related to,(even related to ...is a no no most of the time after a certain age), his brothers, mother etc.
And then all that plastic surgery....why? why? why?
I was also chatting about this last night with some friends and agree with you both.
We came to the conclusion that when you are that famous you must be surrounded by a group of 'yes men' who will just agree with you or seek to facilitate whatever behaviour you indulge in.
Regardless of whether you have sexual designs on children or not, sleeping with them like he admitted he did was inappropriate in the least

It is a shame when we realise that the person we hold in great esteem has flaws..but everyone has them....Even my Dad.. (although he would never admit it)
I have too many flaws to mention and I have fallen off a many a pedastal but hey ho
Is that before or after the 'Many a drink'..
