I don't think it is about respecting or disrespecting MJ, I think it is about respecting or disrespecting each other.
I don't respect MJ but i respect those who do and are grief striken at his passing.
Those demanding the people who really couldn't care one way or another respect MJ are being more disrespectful of those that don't really care far more than anyone is disrespecting MJ

Ain't no such thing as karma. Except the two loveable forum members of course. And the thing that motivates Earl. Very clearly, Bad Stuff happens to Good People, and Good Things happen to Bad People.

the thing is iam really not concerned at all....it is very sad a young family have lost there father and a mother has lost her son.....that is the extent of my sympathy i do not think thousands in yet another griefporn show is what is needed to show respect in fact is it more disrespecful to be wailing profesing your/their grief greater than that of the family?......a sense of proportion should be kept maybe the family would prefer not to see such a circus

Fair point j0anne. However, considering his parents (especially his father) encouraged him to pursue his career in music, the "circus" became part-and-parcel...so it's hardly anything they (the family) cannot handle IMO.
And if that be the case, they're about 40+ years too late to be too alarmed by "the circus".

Me and my mates always say PCE to mean present company excepted.
Usually when we are ripping men to shreds (for instance) and there is a decent man present
As for the Respeck/Dis argument, I can see both sides but I have to admit that some of the comments in the MJ threads in the TT had me ROFL last night
I am a bad person
