I think it was Makosi who told Chantelle earlier today that's he's bald, odd choice of hair implants or whatever they are, but each to his own  

I don't think they're implants, just look like he's balding but had clean shaved the receding/barely there bits and making the most of what he has left. They just looks like very fine locks or twists to me.

But he's been living most his life in a gangsters paradise?

I quite like them I used to locks up my ex's hair for him years ago, I like funki dreds (although Coolio is more planet Jupiter/War of the Worlds than Funki Dred). I offered the same service to my son and he looked at me with horror
