Soozy, I am not a true geordie, we tend to use bairn instead of kid, very Scottish of us, although I do believe the origins of the word are more from the Viking invasion.

I really should leave Newcastle, my accent is not wanted. (No kidding, I was asked the other week while driving through McDonalds for coffee, if my accent was Northern Ireland )
