I think Freddie, in addition to being the things I mentioned above, has a very good memory for the bad old days and this is payback time.

I'm sure Freddie could use the 100k and he's not above a bit of flummery, I'm sure. But if he wins the money it will be because we see something more in him than greed and gameplaying. It might be because - shock horror - he is a genuinely nice person. But I do get your point baz ...

I can't count the times I've seen a friend make a mistake but stood their corner because I understand either there frame of mind or their reasons for doing it..Freddie to me is a good friend to Marcus when Marcus is feeling used and abused by Noirin....

That may be true but I guess that I'd like my friend to be honest enough to tell me (sensitvely) if I'm out of order. I'd value that more as it takes a genuine friend to take a risk like that. I may not like it initially but would admire them once I'd had time to think.

Freddie has his eye on the prize as do all the HM's I'd be worried if he didn't. It's like a football team turning up to a match expecting to lose, it really wouldn't make sense. Freddie is far from perfect, and even though I am a fan of his I do see his flaws, he is not above scheming, he bitches with the best of them, and his hmmmmm moments get on my nerves. What I do like about Freddie is his loyalty, even when it's a bit misguided with Marcus. Marcus used Freddie to align more votes against Lisa and her pack, I doubt Marcus has the same depth of loyalty to Freddie. Freddie is loyal to Siavash, another HM. who took no part in the habitual bullying from Lisa & co. Freddie feels conflicted because there is friction between the two people he considers mates in the house, Marcus and Siavash, he knows the cause of the friction is Noirin, whom Freddie has realise is totally selfish and insincere. I can understand Freddie's angst.

Also, I think the penny has dropped with him regarding Bea. I think that when he was talking to her while in the bath he realised just how false and scheming she really is and he's probably wondering just how this will affect their friendship!

Actually I agree with most but what I don't agree with is being dictated to because I asked a question which obviously many took exception to.
