Why are people taken in by Charlie.

He keeps out of the bitching as he knows that the public dont like bitchy HM's, he still nominates the way his mates do every week.

Yeah, unless it's some kind of prank, things go whooosh. Big Grin

By `people` I assume you mean me. I don`t like him, but reckon he`s not as vindictive as Kris and Lisa (and Karly now). He`s just childish and doesn`t know his own mind and toadys to those he thinks are winning.

I dont even think he's childish, he knows what he's doing in there, and he was caught out lying the other day with that token for booze thing.

He is not the mild mannered lovely boy that some think he is. Shake Head

Totally agree the little pretend BB2 Brian doesn't fool me one bit, he's a sly git. I remember him pretending to like Angel, but still threw water on her, some mate eh?

I dunno either, but probably because she looks the scariest and was the first to get vocal with people. That sent out signals to the others that she is not to be messed with.

Well maybe someone had better throw a meaty bone over the wall for her because Freddie has been torn to shreds enough!

Actually her calm exterior unless she is in fight mode reminds me of Brick Top from that film Snatch.

It`s their gang/clique mentality, Storm. They are a bunch of nasty, immature prats.
They are aren't they? I bet if they faced him on their own, away from the house, his intellect would scare them, and they would not be able to bully him either, but as a collective, they are strong and bloody nasty and childish and horrid. Frowner

absolutely storm, on the hl's tonight when Freddie was trying to talk to Kris, Kris was so out of his depth so he ran away Laugh

.... when ever they have an altercation with Freddie/halfwit? Confused

They are so pathetic and bloody childish. They run to mama like a 5 year old kid, whingeing and bitching, whenever they have any kind of spat with Freddie. It's laughable and stupid!

The people in the house are just horrid to Freddie Mad If I was him I would leave this weekend, if I wasn't evicted this friday. No matter what Freddie does or doesn't do; they are vile to him. I really feel for him; he is a total outcast, and they treat the poor guy like shit! Frowner If Sree fails the ice cream task, I bet they will find a way of blaming FREDDIE Mad

is this a reverse 'vote freddie out' plea? Big Grin
the jibes are wearing him out, but i think he has a strong resolve. Smiler

Sorry, been out so I'm an hour behind but I think I'm watching what you're referring to. Karly is horrible - she was nasty to him for asking something reasonable in a reasonable way and then went to the rest of the group to whine about it and boast about how tough she was with him turning him down.

Not nice.

she sings like she's been trained. having mastered her part, i got a distinct impression she was determined to shine in this task. her rants came from an inner confidence - biatch!

Think in-group, out-group behaviour. Team Nasty are conforming increasingly more rigidly to the norms of their chosen group (norms pretty much instigated and drafted by Lisa)....and every in-group uses the out-group members as a basis of comparison for to strengthen their shared social identity. Hence, when Lisa, Karly, Kris and Charlie get even the slightest opportunity, they run to the other group members to confirm the out-group status of the target, by default reinforcing their in-group status. Not the greatest human trait ever.
