We never go to bed before 4am and we get up after noon (unless one of us has an appointment in the morning). My Mum phoned and woke me up at noon today. When she realised that I'd been asleep, she said, "You live in a different hemisphere!"
Blimey Jen ... your school is late breaking up. Ours finished last Friday.
Much better to keep them in school though - especially where little children are involved
Sloped off to bed after posting this (sorry) and baby woke me up at 5am! To say im tired doesnt really cover it..... early night for me tonight!

All the schools near me are breaking up today, does seem rather late this year
They always stay on up to 22nd/23rd it is good as they have less time at home all day excited and i have more time to get organized still not nice going out in wet and cold in the mornings
Just as well i work nightshift cos i'm a real night owl
Never, never in bed before 1am - often 4am
Cue ... luscious midnight feasts and wonderful DVD's to take me to another world
I watch the cats run around the streets and sometimes go outside to sit on our wall and just enjoy the fresh air and silence.
. . . wish i cud fly and float above the roof tops
I'm a night-owl too. I hate going to bed before 1am because it feels like once the kids are in bed that it's my time to do whatever it is I wish, wether it be having a drink or watching TV. I loathe mornings though but having both kids at school is great coz once I get them out the door it's back to bed for me til around lunchtime.
When the kids are off I tend not to stay up too late but often can't help it because I'm not tired enough.
Have to turn in at least 15 minutes earlier recently, to turn off all the battery powered Christmas lights, and unplug all the rest....tis bliddy exhausting...
