thought they had decided to 'fix' it for the Js to win anyhow to get to go out on the stage. Dont think Mario banked on them actually going OUT of the house for hours on end and per-chance mingling with PEOPLE!!!

see i didn't get the results......mario and andrew won the first round...and they tied with the jj's on the second....so overall..surely mario/andrew won?.or did i miss something?

I thought it was a bit weird that they didn't give it to Mario and Andrew who had the fastest time overall. No need for a decider. Having said that, Mario's face when he just saw quality airtime flying out the window was priceless. Could he possibly make it any more obvious how desperate he is to win?

I thought it was a draw in the first round so in the decider JJ's won firstly on speed and then mario and andrew got a two second fault.
to be fair ...................I can sort of understand why Mario was disappointed ...........if the camera chooses to linger on his miserable face then - we're all gonna see 'miserable Mario'. I can understand that he was a bit gutted.

Only the fastest round counted though Spongey. So as both their fastest times were the same, they then did a tie breaker.Reference:

Their fastest times weren't the same. Mario and Andrew had the fastest time out of the two rounds. They didn't need a decider at all but decided to give golden boy another shot at it anyway.

Spongey, I assume that they had two goes each and whichever was the fastest time counted, so, when they had the same, they had to go again
The rules were perfectly simple. The fastest time out of two runs would win the task. They both had equally fastest times.
glad i wasn't the only one who couldn't work out why mario and andrew weren't the winners when they won...

no they didn't mario/andrews times were combined t 18.31 seconds , jj and jj were a combined 18.34...the fastest run of the 2 rounds was mario/andrew with 9.31.
no matter which way you calculate it, mario/andrew won.

Nope. Fastest run of the 2 rounds was 9.00 dead for both teams. It was a draw. JJ/JJ then went on to smash the previous record with 8.something.

But the rules never stated that in the event of a tie the 2 round times would be combined. The rule simply said the fastest of the 2 rounds would win. The fastest for JJ/JJ was 9 seconds. The fastest for Mario/Andrew was 9 seconds. It was a draw.
I'm no fan of Mario but i guess they were all gutted at not being allowed oitside for the day, Mario just shown it more, you only had to hear what Dave said when they returned, *did you see the BB betting* i guess they all felt the same at this stage of the game

I understand it now......they both had the fastest time so had to go again. Mistakenly thought at first that it was who was fastest over 2 rounds overall. Oooops. Think I need my bed, lol.
