You were absolutely lovely to me the other night on the Jade thread so I am angry that you are receiving negative comments. You are one of the really nice people that this forum is full of most of the time and that`s the reason I come here

a forum is all about chit chat in general and a bit of heated debate, it would be very boring if everyone agreed on every subject, there are those on here i argue like cat and dog with but i have huge admiration for most of them and i do respect their opinions even if i dont show it on the forum, there are others i never argue with and just enjoy a chit chat, i guess that the way it is for most people.

bozzimacoo speaks a lot of sense.

Just post with the nice FMs and ignore anyone who is unpleasant to you.

I think that by being on here we occasionally rub shoulders with people we would normally run a mile from. I love to have a laugh and a debate because R/L is too serious.

That's very sad,that you have experienced such negative things I think everyone will experience such comments, especially when they can be the polar opposite of what others believe. I think that's part and parcel of forum life. Don't take it personally.

There are a few acerbic personalities on here just like anywhere. Most of the time I'm certain the majority of them don't mean to be hurtful.
It can be hard to gauge whether someone is joking or being nasty when you can't hear the tone of voice of see their face.
If you think someone is having a pop at you and you don't want to argue your corner with them then just leave the thread.
If they then follow you to pursue the argument stick them on ignore and post with the people you do get on with.
There are lots of nice people here

With regard to hurt feelings, well C4 was the first ‘chat’ forum I ever registered on and the general tone DID faze me a bit at first. No one on here knows anything about me or my life though, so if anyone chooses to judge/hate on me over indiscriminate words on a page then that’s their sweat.

Look seriously, I do think that the post in question was read wrongly and misinterpreted. I don't think there was any ill-intention there - I read it as a little humour in an attempt to reduce the intensity of what was being discussed.

You have to have thick skin on here - sad but true. But in this case I don't see that particular comment/response as worthy of criticism. That's just my opinion.
