I don't know Mrs H.  A lot of the FM's seem to use FB quite a bit now.

After a shaky start I like it here.
And besides I don't put myself through the stress of moving and settling last summer only to pack it in so readily.
I'm not going, unless I am forcibly removed. (Dearie me I should not have put that idea in your heads.)

Don't know MrsH.  There was a lot of needless bad feeling and mis-information here at the start.  Some haven't come back since and others never gave it a chance.
I think we should concentrate more on what we have built up here.   There's no nastiness and the support people have been getting here from other FMs has been amazing.

I can't imagine not having this place. I don't post as often as I used to but I check in everyday. It's a lovely little community.

I dont know why they they have left perhaps they prefer FB, I like it here and wont go elsewhere

I do both Marg. There's a different sort of vibe on FB but it can be pretty good fun. Plus you get to keep in touch with some of the old names.

I agree with Tayto, QotHTs and Marguerita.
I like the sense of community and the acceptance we feel here.
We have been well supported by each other (and our lovely mods of course), and I wouldn't want to give it up.

I see FB as an additional place not instead of - nothing there compares to banter and discussions you get on a forum IMHO - everyone has their own opinion of course

I agree with what has been said FB is a different extra place to use, it is different from the community here. I love this place and the friends I have made

I don't post a lot but do visit here several times a day. On the whole, I think we have a nice crowd here.
I read DS sometimes (never post) and some of the people there seem to jump on other posters if they don't agree with them, it seems a bit scarey over there. I much prefer this place.
I do us FB but only to chat to family and friends and play games lol

I like it here and you are stuck with me - I'm going nowhere.
There are so many lovely, funny FMs here and - perhaps because we are smaller in number - there is a real community feel.  But there are also some absent FMs who I really miss. Fingers crossed they come back soon.

I think there are lots of reasons why so many familiar names have gone tbh.
There are other fora but they have very little traffic so this is still the main one for the ex C4ers.
When fms are banned or don't come here anymore then the people who liked to chat a lot to them tend to drift off as well and we get smaller in number.
One big advantage of the C4 forum was that, as the official site, we always had new people joining and lots of them stuck around afterwards

C4 also allowed you to return after a bopping session, the policy here seems to be different. Life means life in gaga land.

I'm still here, although I haven't posted much this time round. Although i like all the lovely FMs here, I dont like the layout of the forum or the website, it seems smaller and I find it annoying that there isn't a separate OT thread. Hopefully more people will join for the last BB in the summer tho.

I witnessed some pretty unpleasant stuff on the old C4 forums, but I have seen nothing nearly as bad here. I think the guidelines are clearer here and the mods are fairer.

And of course there are many reasons why people may not be posting here any more, - not just to do with the forums. Peoples` lives change!

Trouble is there's no potential for new forum members here as no one knows this place exists.  This big brother forum itself is buried deep within the livecloud site.  Type big brother forum into google and this place does not list.  DS does, TIBB does.  This forum is just people from the old CH4 forum and as more members are banned or just walk away eventually there will be just a handful of people remaining - kinda where we're at now.  Another problem is that avatars and other media does not show if you're using the world's most popular browser (IE) unless you go through some crazy procedure to allow livecloud to bypass IE's security making it completely user-unfriendly.  When I posted my IE fix last year I assumed it would be a stop-gap solution but months later it is still the only way for IE users to be able to use this site as it is intended.

Temps was one of the members I have missing   I thought in line with others recently it would be a week bop -  had a look and she has gone - posts and all dont know what to think !!

Right now i'm loving it there more than here. Maybe because theres people there more around my age to chat to.

My sentiments exactly Yogi  I admit I was very unsettled when we first moved here, mainly because of all the extra areas, walls etc..... but now I think it is a lovely community. I am also sad about those who never made it over here, or left for various reasons...... but unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it..... Anyway, I am here and here I am staying! *sorry folks*
