Soozy you are scaring me........I have been hovering over posting for ages.......and you chose Charles Dickens.............and I have spent at least 10 minutes wanting to add Tony Curtis....

I would love to meet yp with my Dad again too ..........................I know I never really knew him - I don't know how we'd be around a dinner table together TBH - we were father and daughter (he never really opened up) - sad really.

How funny 

I would like to see how he responded to Henry V111 and Dickens......My Dad was My Dad and selfishly I never granted him with a youth....I now know he had one, and would like to find out about it 

Syd  I'm pretty much the same re my dad. I'm having a canvas print made for my mum for Christmas ...........it's a picture of her and my dad cutting their wedding cake, She was twenty one - he was twenty. I've seen the picture so many times but I've only just realised how handsome he was (not unlike Tony Curtis). Also ..................everyone has always said how much my sister looks like him and I've suddenly seen it.

He died aged 58 (too young) - I would have loved to have known him better!

Love the idea of Tony Curtis tho'!  

 I know, trouble is with youth and parents, we take them for granted and think they will always be around...My parents gave me a lovely childhood and I am grateful for that, just wish I had said it out loud, instead of giving them grief. 

You really would love Harry Chapin - a singer song writer who died 30 years ago (Cats in the Cradle, WOLD) - his only two hits in the UK. I saw him in concert many times - great songs/great stories and a really inspirational guy.

Neil Kinnock ................because - I really believed in him - I thought he could have done great things - I never got over his defeat in the 1992 election - I think things could have been very different.

Tony Curtis - I had a crush on him from about age 7 onwards after seeing him in Taras Bulba
