From the threads it looks like the "silly season" is months ahead of the usual silly season lol. As far as I can make out one person decides to leave because they feel picked on, if that's how they feel so be it as everyone has a right to their own feelings whether others agree with their view or not - and I've got no idea what started all that as I don't read all the threads. From that several others have jumped on the bandwagon because of the word "clique" and a flurry of posts and threads come about lol.  A lot of it is in fun probably through either bordeom in general or boredom at the lack of threads FM's feel drawn to take part in.

Having been a member of many Forums over the years I've observed there are cliques whether it's recognised or not, personally I'm not the cliquey type and I doubt anyone else thinks they are too. On all Forums I've observed members whether they admit to it or not, or respond to it or not like some drama, some though become draaaamaaaholics lol.

OK, sometimes it's like a pub full of happy drunks and everyone gets asked to join in the sing-a-long.

Sometimes, it's like a pub, where groups of friends are chatting and ignore others who enter the pub.

Sometimes, it's like a pub, where people are chatting to friends and stop to look around in suspicion, when someone comes in looking like they could be an American Werewolf.

Sometimes it's like a pub, where anyone who brushes past you, gets a Glasgow Kiss, for spilling a drop of your pint.

So, in theory, I suppose what you're saying is that there is a fine line between being in agreement with a majority and being in a clique. Hmm. Well, considering I probably only know/speak to about 5% of the regular posters from here off forum then I am in an exceedingly small clique. (Even though those I speak to from here never talk about this place, it's usually about shoes or X factor or people who moan a lot or - dare I say it - real life *shudders*)
