I don't know Rawky, I come on here for a quiet read and I'm hit full force with a wave of controversy, a stampede of flouncing and some plonker trying to start a clique. Where will it all end?

From the threads it looks like the "silly season" is months ahead of the usual silly season lol. As far as I can make out one person decides to leave because they feel picked on, if that's how they feel so be it as everyone has a right to their own feelings whether others agree with their view or not - and I've got no idea what started all that as I don't read all the threads. From that several others have jumped on the bandwagon because of the word "clique" and a flurry of posts and threads come about lol.  A lot of it is in fun probably through either bordeom in general or boredom at the lack of threads FM's feel drawn to take part in.



Having been a member of many Forums over the years I've observed there are cliques whether it's recognised or not, personally I'm not the cliquey type and I doubt anyone else thinks they are too. On all Forums I've observed members whether they admit to it or not, or respond to it or not like some drama, some though become draaaamaaaholics lol.

So Yellow Rose, what you are trying to say is that there is a 'Clique' against the 'Cliques'?

Lol Rawky, I would have thought most people would have disagreed that they're they cliquish even if they feel more comfortable following the clique, it's the nature of sheeple, sheep don't know they're just doing what feels natural, to follow the herd, or the consensus, lol

So, in theory, I suppose what you're saying is that there is a fine line between being in agreement with a majority and being in a clique. Hmm. Well, considering I probably only know/speak to about 5% of the regular posters from here off forum then I am in an exceedingly small clique. (Even though those I speak to from here never talk about this place, it's usually about shoes or X factor or people who moan a lot or - dare I say it - real life *shudders*)

But clique's do exist even though everyone denies them or being part of them lol. Maybe clique is the wrong word/meaning, how about a group of people who all have the same thoughts about something/someone, atm I can't think of the word that covers that.

I'm a member of the lefty-liberal PC Brigade clique, but not the 'Ooh, new shoes' clique.

There's not enough of us on here to have a good old ding dong fight! We merely have limp wristed slappy hand fights. Mind me handbag on the floor!

This place is just the same as the old forums. Cept they built that new motorway and not so many people stop by, and occasionally someone gets stabbed to death in a shower by some one dressed as there mother. Metaphorically of course.
