I've been invited to a fancy dress party in July - have to dress as a fictional character.

I've got to get the bus into Oxford, we are all meeting in a pub in the city centre, a two hour boat trip, then dinner and a bit of a bop the other end.

It'll last all day, hopefully it's going to be hot weather, I've got to mix with 'ordinary' people (ie, dressed normally) on the bus etc.

Who can I go as?

I have considered a Muggle from Harry Potter - but that seems a bit of a cop-out

Try thinking of something which looks kind of normal until you add the accessories from your bag when you get there?

That is wrong on soooo many counts Jen!!

I just don't look like Wally. At all. Not even the glasses would do it!!

How about a disney princess? You could act all weird on the bus so people felt sorry for you rather than thinking wtf?

Well, there's a story - but I'll save that for another day!

Raggedy clothes - Cinderella

But, but, I want to look nice

Stripey tights - Pippy Lonstocking

That requires a short skirt ... that ship launched years ago!

Witches outfit - Mog (Mog and Meg)

Hmmmmm, maybe. Nah, not feeling it!

School Uniform - Naughtiest Girl in the School

Short skirt again

Dorothy - Wizard of Oz

Hmmmmm ... again!

I'll keep thinking!

Oh please do ... I'm not being ungrateful

yes and I know how partial you are to wine, G&T's and much more..I was being helpful

So, is there a fictional character who is equally partial?
