Marcus wants this BB to be great and he works stuff out in his head on how he can do it. He hasn't factored human nature into it. He constantly talks about a BB Brain but most people try to use the one brain they have and it's confusing him.

His problem is that he gets his definition of how to be a man from comic books and action films, and his behaviour is all designed to impress other saddos who do the same

Yes, he may not be the most likeable character but as Davina would say, he's a great housemate.

I think the show would lack something if he wasn't there.

Last night he even claimed that he spends all his time in the kitchen, to stop people stealing food.

Everything he does, he claims is for the others' good. He is 'saving them' from themselves.
