I have auto-immune problems which mean long sleeves and covered legs when I go outside. Mad

aww Penny that must be awful!

Why are you staying in Brazil if it's so difficult? sorry I won't be offended if you don't want to say.
Oh I love it here, it's just the heat that I hate, and I didn't hate it so much before I got sick. Having said that, private medical care here is absolutely first class and very cheap.

Plus I love my job, the language, the food, my in-laws etc etc. Oh, go on, my husband too, sometimes Big Grin

ah well, seems the good far outweighs the bad, here, have one of these

Can't wait for this year's tournament now that Centre Court has a roof.

Watched the matches last weekend with Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf (brilliant).

Yeah.. not too far. It's crazy around Wimbledon time. But very lucrative apparently if you are willing to ship out of your home and rent it out for a couple of weeks. Ninja

I hope Borat is there and rugby tackles you to the ground and rubs his banana-hammock in your face just as you're about to gulp down a HotDog. Ninja

Yes indeed - a lot of the players actually rent some of the homes in the area themselves.

You could be on a winner there tupps. Big Grin

Used to spend many an enjoyable day on Wimbledon Common finishing off with tea at The Windmill.

The officials should have let you back in pussycat during one of the breaks in the game!!

That's bad. I'd have been well annoyed.

The last time I went was to watch the lovely Stefan Edberg (swoons). That man had the most gorgeous thighs in the tennis world.

Good Heavens!! Eeker

Talk about 'Mad Dogs and Englishmen'!!

Can't remember which month we went but it was quite early in the year I know but it was still hot, hot, hot and I couldn't cope with it but my husband was fine. Heat doesn't bother him at all.
