Never seen one of shows. I will look out for her on the Food channel.
She cooks enough to feed an army and yet there's only her and her husband, Jeffrey.
You'll hear a lot about Jeffrey...
And everything's "A Par-taaaaaaaay"  - even when there's the sum total of 4 people sharing a quick lunch.  She's a proper Susie Homemaker and all Mom's Apple Pie.

Also years ago I used to love watching the Galloping Gourmet

Awww, he was great.
Poor sod had a heart attack - recovered and then re-wrote all his recipes so that they were more healthy.

Hudson and Halls

What ever happened to them?  The one with glasses used to get a bit sniffy at times whilst the toothy one used to just laugh at everything.

I have to say that I always buy free range/organic when I can. I just abhor and detest factory farming. My turkey will cost a small fortune this year but it will come from a good local farm and would have been allowed to roam free. I would rather buy a small good quality joint than a large cheap imported one.

Thats fine if you have the money to do that. Most of the poore families will strugle this year just to buy regular stuff, and as for next Christmas under this Govt we will be on jam and bread.

*shrugs*

I work hard Crispy and yes you are right I am lucky that I can buy good quality stuff, Food is a helluva price nowadays. I also think it is not helped by the fact that generally people seem to have forgotten how to cook ( or have never been taught) so a lot of the cheaper cuts of meat that can be used to make stews etc are not so popular and also so called fast food is cheaper than it ever has been.
