On the same note(ish) John Stewart Mill referred to the Tories as the party for stupid people. What would he have made of BNP/UKIP?

Well as you know faerykelstar I live in Devon now and I am pleased for the change. I felt they needed a change.

I don't agree. I'm also worried about the fox-hunting now as well as the Tories are the only party that may allow it to return. That's not good. Frowner

I'm not a supporter of fox hunting, but there are many around here who do support it and I believe that it supports many jobs, so I have to respect their opinion.

In my opinion, the only people who will be out of a job are the foxhound breeders, and as I think it is an utterly disgusting hobby then that doesn't seem like a bad thing to me.

To me it has always seemed that baffled people come into the countryside and attempt to change the way it works. The main problem with fox hunting is the people who follow it, stop suddenly without warning, park on blind bends and so forth. However the people actually involved in Fox hunting form an easy target. Indeed an easier target than all that is wrong within the cities. One tends not to find these protesters taking on guns, drug, and crime culture for example. They would be slit up a treat.

Umm, fyi was born and lived in the countryside for most of my life. It is not all about fox-hunting. There are more opposed to it than for it. They are an easy target because they are morally wrong. Bad parking is certainly not the worst thing about fox-hunting!! Crazy
