While I know it's not good, there's circumstances to be taken into consideration. I'm always 'on call' so to speak, and have to be there to answer the videophone and let people in as I'm on reception so it's running up the road for a sandwich and getting about 15 mins dinner, even though I can never get a proper break

I must say I was a bit distracted by the attractive Alison Clark, but I do eat at my desk sometimes and go out on other occasions. When I eat at my desk I tend to surf the net rather than work or post the odd message on here.

I dont get this... do these people not wash their hands? Surely the only germs on your keyboard and mouse etc are those that you put there? So if you wash every time to use the toilet or touch something grubby then you'd be ok?

I know shared computers and manky co workers are an issue here but still i do have a point.

I can't physically do my job and eat at the same time, so I do get a proper break, but if I worked where I could then I probably would eat lunch at my desk. My Bestie does, then she's free to spend her actual break shopping or reading

I work in an office where a significant number of men don't wash their hands after using the toilet - just so we are clear that is both no.1's and 2's.

I've taken to leaving the toilet using a hand towel to open the two doors to get out.

It's just as bad in pubs. The number of guy's who just leave without washing. I suppose it's the level of drunkenness that probably counts toward the problem.

I'm the same EC (obviously with me it's women though) It's amazing the amount of peeps that come out of the toilet without showing any signs of drying their hands
