That's just bitching about someone and tbh if Keever had done that to me - I would've decked her
Caoimhe did nothing wrong regarding JJ. Josie is not dating him, he is not her boyfriend and therefore she has no ties with him romantic or otherwise. Why shouldn't another hm have a laugh or a bitch with him  He is not Josie's exclusive property. She has made an absolute show of herself and was nasty and spiteful with her drip, drip gossip about Caoimhe taking 'her man'. He is not her man and her behaviour showed a nasty bunny boiling side to her

I disagree Fairfax.  Josie saw Keever as a friend and confided in her that she fancied JJ.  Keever then got drunk and proceeded to throw herself at JJ, flirting like mad with him.  Ok, JJ and Josie are not an item, but in my world if you tell someone who you see as a mate, that you fancy a bloke they are then off limits to your mate.  That's how I was brought up and the code I live under.  Maybe I am old-fashioned though

She spoke to JJ and he spoke to her, in fact he felt so strongly, he desolved into tears after she left. Why doesn't Josie want to deck him? She's not a woman's woman.
She got drunk, made a holy show of herself with JJ by chasing him around the place in a wet blouse with no bra underneath.  Flirted like mad with him.

I am obviously the only one who thinks like this - but imo she was bang out of order and yes I would've decked her.

LL  I honestly don't think she did throw herself at him, I couldn't stand Caoimhe but I think she was drunk and just acting the fool running around the house. She has her own boyfriend outside and has said she didn't fancy JJ and I believe her - just my opinion. Regarding your old fashioned views, they aren't old fashioned, I think they are admirable and I have stood by them myself all my adult life. I still think Joise behaved dreadfully though, but we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

That's what Josie does every day, minus the wet blouse, but making up for that by not letting up. If JJ wants to flirt with anybody in the house, why shouldn't he, just because Josie's got the hots for him, does not mean that he has to be shackled to her 24/7.

l'm not talking about JJ flirting, but Keever who Josie saw as a mate.

That's just how I saw the situation and you see it differently.  I would have felt the same way as Josie did.

But they all know that JJ does not fancy Josie. They had a free for all in the bath, in fact it was Josie who soaked Keeva. I'm am certain they were having fun rather than wanting to stab Josie in the back. When I was about 15 I read a book about a budding relationship and the girl trying too hard and losing all the fun in being together. That's what is happening here. Josie says often enough that JJ would never fancy her, well get on being friends and forget about the sex.
