They need Carol.. only joking.. know what you mean.. but we did have live feed back then..
its true, i wonder if its cos the kitchen is seperate now? i'll never understand why they constantly moan about boredom and don't make more of a fuss and ceremony about mealtimes.
No LF no cooking.

Tis true! We miss all the domestic stuff... which was often when the interesting things happened!
That's true, they seem to munch cereal on thier own, they never sit and soicalise eating together. I suppose having a basic food budget has a lot to do with it.
I hate the separate kitchen... who came up with that idea?
Though when I came into this thread I actually thought it was going to be you asking who should cook at yours tonight... your hubby as its your bday, or you cos hubby is poorly!
I was going to suggest take away!
I was going to suggest take away!

I haven't been able to visualise the flow of the house layout at all Ducky.
When they walk into the kitchen... I have no idea where they have come from!

i agree, its so disjointed they never seem to all be together. Might account for why people like Hira get ' lost '

Live feed is needed to see the HMs cook, the kitchen is after all the heart of any house..
They've got no food, so what can they cook? I saw Norin do cooking a few weeks ago when they won a task, but since then they lost them.

Yeah...yeah.
Lazy moos!
Theres only been a small number of housemates that know how to. It beggars belief but most of them dont bother to learn stuff like that before going in.quote:Originally posted by Dirtyprettygirlthing:

Its harder now though in past BBs they could buy a couple of pounds of flour and not have it taken back on thursday. Still cheaper than buying bread though.

It is staggering - especially as many of them are ""BB-aware" enough to know that the kitchen is "territory", and therefore useful to control (cf. Carole).
They did have (semi-)communial meals early on, but they seemed to drop it as the groups developed.

Noirin did try it, but no one was watching so she resrted to duvet diving instead.
