Havenβt they got anything better to do?
I had only just got used to them where they were.

It happened when the site went down last night. I had a bit of an altercation about it withgodDave and I reckon I now have to be a bit careful.

I visit so many boards during the day, all of which have different smilies, (graemlins as we call them) that I've never memorized where they go. I didn't notice the change until it was pointed out to me.

graemlins, is that an american way of spelling gremlins or does it mean something totally different?

The person that originated the idea of emoticons was Scott Fahlman. The person that first suggested to Ted the idea of taking Mr. Fahlman's idea, introducing them to our message boards, then changing Fahlman's keystrokes :-) and converting them into actual images is named Graeme. As it's Graeme's idea we call them graemlins. Our UBB message board was the first to have this.
