Rog, I have not heard anything to the contrary other than his lappy is in for repair 

I know he said that his laptop was going in for major repair, that his Windows was corrupted, that he was looking for a replacement to his a/v. When he started enquiring about the a/v he said he was about to go offline in an hour which he did. He didn't know when he would be back.

Thanks for going to the trouble El Loro + Fluffy  I had looked up his last post on 1st June. It seemed a long time to get his lappy repaired so got a bit worried xx

HELLO everyone - and thank you for your concern.

Lappy had to go back TWICE for a complete refurb kinda thing and is now wiped clean ... of everything. Thank God I have external back up.

Needs to be collected and updated.

Dad has been very poorly - he's having radio-therapy and tests to track progress.

About a week ago he suddenly became unconscious - lasted nearly 2 mins - it was terrifying - I had to lift him out of his chair and place him in the recovery position. Truly thought I was watching him die.

He's been in hospital for monitoring and been told he must have major surgery for his cancer with a 40% mortality rate in his current condition.

So he's now undergoing iron infusions and possible blood transfusions to make him fit enough to withstand his operation. 

On top of all this my friend was killed in a car crash 2 weeks ago - leaving his partner (25yrs old) and two small children.

2016 has been terrible - so hope you understand my absence.

Oh Renton .....I don't know what to say You truly are having a dreadful year Hope things improve really soon for you and your dad's operation goes well . Hang in there

Very sad news about you dad. I hope he becomes strong again and the operation is a success 

This certainly has been a dreadful year for you. Keep your chin up my friend and I hope the rest of year is a great deal better 

Oh no, poor poor Sainty!!!    You've really been struck by tragedy xx  You must be in shock with all this happening at once.  

Deepest sympathies for the loss of your friend  Of course we understand your absence. We lubs you and miss you in the meantime xx.
