yes, cos they all sound the same
Southern accents don't all sound the same! It's probably cause you havent grown up with it that you can't tell the difference, because trust me, Woodford and Walthamstow people sound quite different Woodford is POSH, Walthamstow really isn't, Sloane Rangers and Eastenders, proper southerners like people from Devon and Londoners....

not all of 'em....have family we don't talk about living there....proper scum

Well at least people understand what we are saying. Charlie and David are totally unintelligble! My brother lives in Yorkshire and I can't understand his wife who is a Yorkshire lass either!
Do they still have the cows wandering round Woodford? I always thought that was very strange.
My accent is home counties with a splash of 1950s BBC voiceover.

I was being ironic, in case that wasn't clear

They are perfectly understandable to me,but i'm Welsh ...I think it's an English thing, none of you seem to understand anyone who lives more than 20 miles away from you

Oh, my bad
Teddy, cows?!
Not that I've seen lately, and I'm in Woodford often
Hes from Bretford, which is near Kew in London. Not far from me actually!
Well whne I was a lad, there were always cows wandering about when I visited....or perhaps that was an acid flashback.

there are still a lot of cows in Buckhurst Hill if that helps
He`s from Brentford in Middlesex, which sort of comes under the umbrella of West London!
Its ok Pip I was a bit confused as to how someone can hate all accents of the south of the country when they're all different I mean, accents are different in different bits of London... let alone the rest of the south

I understand them fine... but they do have quite strong accents... I suppose being from the NE helps too
I never have a problem understanding accents, I reckon some people just like to make a song and dance about it.
Lectrics! you have FB spam and do you want some soggip?

It's because whereas there's obviously a variety of different accents, they all have the same quality of being flat and non musical...and that's what I dislike about them
It's like Welsh, Scottish, Irish or even Geordie voices - 100s of different accents, but with the musical quality in common - which you either like or hate
Yeah, I see what you mean Dance Settee... I just thought Pool was being a bit harsh

With the exception of a very drunk Glaswegian accent, neither have I ....I think a lot of people just don't want to make the effort and expect everyone to try and talk like them.
I've never ever met a foreign person who had any problems understanding me, but when I go to England I have to talk reall....y....s....l....o...w for the poor buggers
I don't hate all Southern accents, just South Eastern ones.

That's alright then
