I have a friend who lives in Lichfield and it is quite nice. 

I'm upper middle. 

I worked in Lichfield years ago, it's a nice place actually and on the metro train line to longbridge too which would actually make me happier!

Best location: Winchester 56% - which is interesting, as I once lived there...

My best location in Stratford upon Avon ... which is pretty local to me, so I won't bother moving!

You lived in Winchester? I can't remember mentioning this before. I lived there when I was growing up in the 60s and 70s and my parents only moved from there a few years back.

honestly, I'm not being funny, but it's no different than loads of area's over here...only thing is I paid 12 quid for two latte's in a piano bar and then I understood why it was the posh area 

 

It's not funny! 48% happiness is Norfolk, 42% where I am right now. Hardly worth the effort of moving then  

 

I'm still convinced I'd get 98% happiness up in the mountains. I agree with Saint. Stupid test.

Actually if I could choose to live anywhere, it would be north Northumberland in the borders.  Somewhere quiet & remote.  Which would be better for everyone, as we're noisy in the summer (always have people round) & we're not really good at closing the curtains.  (Actually I am, but Mr C isn't bothered at all)

I only lived there for 3 years: I had to move to Winchester from Portsmouth for work reasons in 1997, and left in 2000.
