Don't really get the whole "de reg" thing. Why not just stop coming on? Why the need to de reg?

When I went on my solo boat race around the world, I wasn't on here for months and didn't even know for sure if I'd ever get the chance to return, but I didn't de reg.

But each to their own I suppose.

Maybe he just needs a wee break.
