how do I display my sig? I've written it and updated it, but it doesn't show up. Sorry if this has been covered already, but this is my first chance to really apply myself to the new forum. Thanks.

oh, suddenly it's there. Is that only if I post a topic?
Hi cologne, sigs only appear when posting a topic, not on posts in the thread
Member list is explore then people (it's not alphabetical though, so trawling through it is a pain) or you can do explore the search and type the name in.
Sigs only show in the OP or on your Blog, but not subsequent posts or replies.

Thanks lowonQ and leccy. I noticed it showed up when I posted the topic, but not subsequently, very strange. Give me another year and I'll get there.
Cologne, members list is also on right hand side of the page, under the pics click more and you'll see them all
Thanks SB.
Yeah we're all learning, and FM's have been very helpful, there is a support section

Thank you. That's a bit embarrassing, I'm not looking hard enough.
After accessing the member directory if you click "Display Name" is does display them in alphabetical order. You can do the same with Community points order or join date order.
You're welcome
And LowonIQ, good tip, didn't think of that.

I can't see anyone's avatar, except if I look at their profile...all i see is a vertical black line.
Sarum can't you see any avvys on this page?
Sarum, what internet browser are you using eg Internet explorer, AOL?

I'm using Firefox, version 3.And, no, I can't see any avatars on this page at all.
I don't know if it's related, but I can only get about half of the smileys too; the rest just show up as placeholders. I can see these;
Sarum I'm not very technical minded, I'm on firefox don't know what number and i can see the avatars. some people recomend google chrome. So you could try and either update the firefox if there's a newer version, or download the google chrome. wish I could be more helpful

Don't be daft, Low; I'm grateful you're trying.I'm quite fond of Forefox, so I'll look and see if there's an update; if that doesn't work, I'll give Chrome a try ( one more browser won't hurt...)
If you get the google chrome I hope it sorts it for you, if it doesn't work ask again, there are lots of fm's who can help.
Sarum....there is a post somewhere about the little eye at the bottom of your screen..very small it is.....click it & enter livecloud in the appropriate box...worked for me & others!

There isn't an eye at the bottom of my screen...I think that's an IE thing.
How odd.
Without changing anything at all, when I logged in today I can see all the avatars, and all the smileys.
Maybe it was a cookie thing; I have my Firefox set to clear all cookies (and everything else) on exit.
Whatever, it seems to have worked.
