Been feeling a bit nostalgic (prompted by reading another thread)
I have been missing some of the people I used to enjoy posting with.
I know things cannot remain the same and there is nothing as certain as change.
But do you remember when we were evicted from the channel 4 BB forums?
Towards the end some people were suggesting other sites and forums where we might gather. I can't remember their names (except I think one of them was called "Walk the Dog".
Do you know if some of our old cxhannel 4 colleagues went to these other places?
Many of others - with the help of the wonderful bovrilking - were rescued by Eve Communities.
Then following a couple more temporary stops we had a roof over our heads at GaGaJoyJoy.
I have learnt to love GaGa. I like it here - and the people.

I know that dear Xochi is unwell, and now finds it difficult to be an active member of the forum.
But she does visit to read some of the threads from time to time.
She may not be posting, but she is still with us.
Which is nice.

A thread was resurrected the other day from waaay back and before I realised it was an old one, I saw Toots' username and thought he was back. Fantastic guy, he was really friendly with Temps and Bovrilking (His ass should be back here too

) That lot really led me astray welcomed me into the forum.

They did a fabulous brand of smut which, to my mind, is sadly lacking nowadays

Four Corners was fab too as was her alter ID Mountain Man!

There was a thread on DS at the beginning of BB11 asking after old Channel 4 members and it was great seeing some of hte old posters again.

I am sure that Xochi will see your lovely wishes and concern.
I think I should tell you that she has a severe disability called Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a congenital condition of brittle bones. It is a deteriorating condition.
Xochi did not want a big issue made of this, but suggested that I could mention it if the subject arose naturally in a thread.
I hope Xochi and yourselves will agree that the subject arose naturally, forumers showed concern, and therefore it would be fitting to give an explanation here.

I hope I don't get a severe reprimand for this.
I love the fact that Xochi is still reading us.

don't be daft Brisket... in fact, she had asked us in the ship that if she was mentioned for us to tell everyone about her. She also told me that if I did, to let you know she said to do so as you also kept in touch.

To Everyone Else...

Xochi has nearly posted a few times.. but she can't handle the hugs, the 'how are you's' etc.. In fact she tends to scowl if you hug her. She is good in herself... and doesn't want sympathy... which is why she struggled to come & explain herself.
