I don't think he has said it to her though, has he? If he has, then she is not hearing it or has chosen not to hear it. Either way, it is getting pretty tiresome.
JJ is playing with Josie's emotions. He is all too happy to tell Mario, Dave, Caoimhe, Rachel and BB that Josie has no chance, but he seems to have a problem with telling the one person who actually matters, Josie.
I'm not a fan of Josie by any means but I do feel sorry for her. She's making a prat out of herself because John James lacks the maturity to tell Josie what he is apparently telling everyone else.

Dunno why she's bothered - Mister 30-second-event, who can't grate cheese and has tantrums over tomato sauce jars that don't open themselves, hardly a catch.

Talking of mixed messages, Josie spent weeks saying she didn't fancy him (except in footie kit) and then suddenly she did. And she keeps on and on about how she knows he wouldn't fancy 'someone like her', but still gets the hump when that turns out to be true! Bunny boiler par excellence.
spot on
I agree that JJ has sent mixed messages, but if she believes that he fancies her, why did she feel the need to get rid of Keeva? Maybe because there was nothing 'mixed' about his attraction to her.
Any road, I'm sure the topic title is paramount in Josie's mind too.

She could have already had 'it', but blinked and missed 'it'

I think he is and very thick skinned if he didn't see this coming. I also think he can be quite sensitive and the fact that he doesn't want to hurt her, shows this.
In Monday night's HLs he did seem really genuinely concerned about the whole thing, when he was outside talking to Keeva about how he wouldn't act on anything in the house. I know he can be a massive prat and all angry and ill tempered but I don't think he'd want to hurt or upset her. Although I guess he's not doing a very good job of that by not being as truthful with her as he could be.Reference:

Josie will lose her airtime
She's much better when not with him and vice versa for him too.
Jose is such a randy mare, at least I don't think she would get captured bonking on a farm unlike Katie Hopkins.
Hi Col,hope you're well.

Me too. I started off mildly disliking her, then I decided to give her a chance and found some of her stuff quite funny, now I have a physical reaction every time I see her. The hand is hovvering constantly near her face, the little blankey seems to go with her everywhere, she's really making me want to scream.

I feel exactly the same! Her constant sniggering is making me ggrrr. Plus she says something nice about someone, then 10 seconds later goes off on all their bad points. i.e "i feel sorry for Keeva" took a breathe then said "why cant she get on with ANYONE in this house"
I wish she wouldn't slouch around in that awful grey dressing gown. She needs to have a big word with herself and get herself together. She is going to be mortified when she comes out the house.

They're getting far too much airtime now, and it's the same old stuff again and again. The new doomy and gloomy. Josie seems to have regressed to being 12 years old overnight. What a boring gruesome twosome.
Col hope it's all going along nicely!

I agree completely. She's definitely not the 'happy go lucky' West Country maid she was trying to put across and because she feels inadequate, she has a need to point out other people's (women in the main) negative points, even if she makes it up.

...and LL, don't worry, it'll all be fine. My DIL is having a baby and the RAF are having logistical problems in getting the boys (my son amongst them) back from Kandahar.
When is BB gonna get it, we don't want the Mills and Boon love story every night on h/l's! So mind numbingly boring...
