I dont care who respects MJ or disrepects him everyone is entitled to view their OWN opinion on him........what I find quite sickening is that during a general discusion on the issue the day after he died the op decided to enter the thread telling sickening jokes about the child abuse issue.....So I think thats why people may have told you to show some respect.......not because MJ had died but them jokes are disrespectful in themselves and not funny.

Shake Head
I agree with you, it sickens me that people still this even after his death...

I still believe MJ was guilty, and I am adamant that had he just been your average Joe Bloggs then he would have had the book thrown at him and would be rotting in a prison cell. In Martin Bashairs interview Michal Jackson said to him, 'I think it is special to share a bed with a young boy' For crying it loud that is almost evidence enough in itself! That aside, he is a great music artist and he should be duly remembered for this, but that doesn't mean that the rest of the stuff should be forgotten.

I believe he was a victim of being too trusting and letting money grabbing devils into his life.... The blogs have been buzzing with news that the kid who accused Michael in 93 has confessed that his dad put him up to it...

Matthew Bashir has come out with a statement saying Michael didnt do anything wrong I wonder why he is saying this now when nothing matters...

Michael was innocent and it was after all these accusations and the witch hunt by the media and wicked and hurtful words from people that killed him eventually...

I just wish all the media and celebs displaying their love for him now showed him all that when he was alive...

Watching the news about MJ over the past few days, one of the channels dragged up the 'evidence' which helped get him into the dock.

One of the things mentioned was the 'under the shelf' mags found in MJs house, but no mention that although they were in his house, they were found in quarters used by security AND in fact had DNA evidence on them linking them to a particular security operative.

The media knows this, along with other so called evidence that was blown out of the water during his trial, so why do they think it right to mention it is beyond me unless it's just for a few more column inches or minutes of air time.
Confused
FM
I would like to believe he is innocent...and was being set up by money hungry folks.

But what was he thinking? Anyone with a shred of common sense would know to keep away from young children that are not of their own..erring on the safe side

There is an innocence about him that is so sad imo, he was bestowed with a tremendous talent but lot less in other depts.

Confused
Im confused and sickened myself with all this new information coming out... The media sickens me with their obvious hypocrisy, they started the assassination of Michael's character now they want to pretend as if they cared...

Im lost for words.. My only hope is that both families come forward and confess especially the ones who are spending blood money now...

I hope Michael is vindicated atleast for his legacy eventhough he is not alive to see it Frowner.

Sorry that wasn't my intention, it was bugging me that people were getting so heated over this. I'm afraid I don't have the skills with words that you have, I just couldn't see why everyone couldn't agree to disagree. I admit I don't get the respecting celebrity thing, but I do respect peoples right to do so. If I offended it was not what I set out to do.

I find it amazing that any MJ fan thinks it was acceptable for him to share his bed with young boys. I wonder if they would have let their child sleep in the same bed with him.

Had this conversation yesterday. Some family members think it was all innocent (I think I tend to go along those lines - even if I do believe it was misguided at best) but when asked 'Would you let your child/grandchild do it' the overwhelming response was 'I wouldn't let a child of mine near him'.

I think if MJ had been found guilty each and every parent who let their child share his bed should have been charged too.

Tone often gets lost in the written word but if you read it in a scolding parent's voice then it sounds that way. That's perhaps not the right voice to read it in though, I accept. I'm just explaining, really. I then felt I couldn't go into that thread - I didn't know it existed before that - because it would have seemed insincere. Doh. I wasn't actually offended by the reference to the thread although I confess I cringed a bit. I don't get offended as a rule by forum stuff. When you put it that way I see what you mean, if anyone had gone in after that it could look as if they were only there because of what I said. That didn't even cross my mind. Perhaps I need to put my brain in gear before I post, I forget sometimes that how thing are construed in real life comes across very differently when put in the written word. My apologies to anyone who thought that is what I meant.

How can you be SO certain of this? I don't think anyone will EVER know whether he was innocent or not, only those involved. As for what caused his death, that's still under investigation, but I think it's a bit early to be throwing 'Diana' style allegations about.
