I intend to write the cards in the next week or so.
The tree and decorations don't usually go up until the middle of December. This is because I used to buy a real tree and, if I bought it too early, I was left with a bare twig by Boxing Day.
I have an artificial tree now, so I suppose I could put it up earlier, if I want to.

After 4th December which is my youngest's birthday. We'll probably go and get a tree the week after sometime and stick that up.

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas already.. as someone said in another thread with all this snow.

I actually wrapped the presents up yesterday as I am on holiday this week.  Usually, I don't wrap so early.  I guess my Christmas will start on Christmas Eve and end the day after Boxing Day   This year, though, I intend to take Christmas off at work and go back after the New Year.

I haven't even done all my shopping yet, never mind wrapped presents

pressies wrapped (have to send some to Germany), cards bought but not written on yet (next week) and the tree will go up on the 1st, last year i moved home on the 12th and didn't put the tree up until really late - it didn't seem like christmas at all.

Sunday, tree is going up, lights are going up outside, hall is being decorated, wine is being open, mince pies will be eaten and a nice xmassy film

I'll start my Christmas shopping around 20 December, and will put my tree up on Christmas Eve.

tree goes up on the 8th, must get cards and presents and clothes before 20th.

I am going to have a black xmas tree this year which I will be buying this pm possibly. But it won't be going  up yet.

I ordered a bunch of presents from amazon last weekend but 3 still haven't arrived.

I'm intending on putting my mums tree up within the next day or so, so that's the start of xmas for me.  I'll have mine up by next weekend and have already got the majority of the kids pressies in and a few other peoples aswell.

9 December, when I pack up and leave the uni campus for Christmas

It started a while back!!!  We've been making pickles etc for ages...complete with crimbo tunes to spur us on! The tree and decs go up this weekend....and I'm soooooooo excited!!!

Not at least until the beginning of December. I just can't do it before then. Although I saw Shakin Stevens' Christmas song on the tele and for about 10 seconds I felt Christmassy.

I came in from work tonight and one of the houses over the road to me has their tree up  I swear people see them go up in the shops, think oh it's christmas and then think, I'll put mine up

one of my neighbors has had a house like blackpool illuminations for at least 3 weeks... fair makes me depressed

In the States they go mad with illuminations, but they all looked tasteful when I saw them. (No Blackpoolness) Only thing is they leave them up for ages after Christmas

I would be sneaking around with wire cutters.
