A nice little documentary I watched the other night, especially if you are one of those who purchased and enjoyed vinyl records.
Lots of classic albums mentioned along with their creators.

Enjoyed it, though only saw the latter part of it
I wanna check out more of those albums ...especially Bowie. Pink Floyd too who I never was interested in before.

It's well worth watching from the beginning. I too want to track down and listen to some of the albums mentioned. For me it's the Carole King Tapestry album.
Carole King was great. I'd hardly heard of her.
Didn't like that modern singer interrupting the original [think its called Its Too Late?] with her own cover. CK's version had way more feeling. And James Taylor on guitar...lovely.
I'll watch the rest on iplayer tonight

Ah, the modern singer you were referring to I think was Nerina Pallot. A name I always think is an anagram!
But yes, I have heard of Carole King, but was not too familiar with her work. I will be soon.
I will probably watch it again mid week.
Me too. Gonna be youtubing some songs...
Danny Baker's BBC4 Album show was quite good too. One of the shows had Boy George and Grace Dent on the same panel... dream team!

I have the Danny Baker series on series link on my computers iPlayer. A friend of mine emailed me to say both he and Jeremy Clarkson had the same taste in albums. He was not impressed.
