I wish we could have done Grease at school.    We did The Dracula Spectacular, The Factory Children, and Joseph & his Technicolour Dreamcoat!

We did Joesph in school, 1973, Civiv Centre Peckham ,  not quite Broadway.

Lucky you, which was the best one?, we only had that one and besides I would be too shy to go on stage in front of lots of people.

3 times I have started a list of favourite songs from musicals. and 3 times I have abandoned it.
In my case it is often not the song that the show is most famous for, but one of those show-stopping numbers (often done by the whole chorus) which lift you into a wonderful peak experience.
In Cabaret I like Tomorrow Belongs to Me and If You Could See Her Through My Eyes, even though they are not the best known.
I like Sobbin' Women from 7 Brides for 7 Brothers.
A number of songs from Singing in the Rain
....and again I am having the same difficulty.
I don't have one favourite.
My favourites are often part of the storyline rather than stand-alone tunes.
