Tim Burton thingy and Helena Bonham Carter own a house not too many miles away from where I work and I often see (stalk) HBC in the local Waitrose

OMG! You must work around the corner from my flat, Rexi!

And I nearly ran over HBC with my trolley in that very same Waitrose

Haha - how on earth did you manage that? She's a bit hard to miss

And ... your hanging baskets need watering

And now you've told everyone

As a teeny, I met Crick and Watson (Nobel prize winners) who discovered the structure of DNA. My best friend over the road's Dad went on to become one of the rare double Nobel prize winners too. There were one or two or others along the road (some of whom were my Dad's students) who achieved the same prize.

I also gave Richard Branson the finger when I worked for him!

I have quite a few but probably the most tenuous (sp) is that my aunt was Majorie Proops housekeeper when I was growing up.

Best thing about that was that they lived next door to Catweazle.

Made me dead cool in the late 60's let me tell all you young whippersnappers who have to google to know who either of them are
