beef salad and jacket spud...now that's boring
Paprika chicken, with couscous and a mixed salad.
Dunno, going out for dinner with my friend Julia, so whatever is on the menu... It may include a side of sweet potato chips though because the place we are going does amazing sweet potato chips
A stir fry with pak choi, beansprouts, bamboo shoots, mushrooms and oyster sauce. I won't decide til the last minute whether it'll be beef or chicken in though. I live on the edge that way
We had a 3 course pub lunch today so nobody`s hungry yet
I`ve made butter bean, bacon and parsley soup for later.
I got the recipe from the Delia Smith link that rosie posted..it`s fab and filling!

i.m.o. you can't go wrong with Delia - or "Delilah" Smith, as she's known in our house, lol.
cauliflower curry with wild brown rice
I've just had a not very exciting, but very tasty, salad of rocket, spring onion, red pepper, cucumber, tomato, jalepenos, lightly grated cheese and a drizzle of french dressing with ham and more big slices of red pepper and cucumber.
I've got a big pot of home-made soup simmering aswell for later. Trying to be good today because I pigged out on Pizza yesterday

We had dominoes pizza. The kids had 5 pals around between them, so it was nice and easy and we had a bunch of buy-one-get-one free vouchers.

I don't mind brown rice, if I'm doing it for chicken fried rice or something I use chicken stock when boiling the rice.....gives it a bit more flavour.
The cauli curry sounds strange to me but then I can't make curry from scratch.....well actually I did once by accident, it started out as homemade soup.

It's not that difficult to do a homemade curry if you have curry paste and cauliflower was all I had left so I bunged in some other veggies and voila! I usually only ever use a cauli for cauliflower cheese so it was nice to use it for something else
Oh I make curry with curry paste Yummy.

funnily I was told to blitz a can of chopped tomatoes and add that - it did give the taste a lift
Pengy , if you are on a diet, and you like curry...try this. Its from the cook yourself thin book.

This is the nicest home made chicken tikka masala ever!! I had it at a friends party once, (nobody was on a diet) but she chose to make it because it is so delicious. I agree, and have made it several times.
you could also use the sauce with chickpeas, just omit the oven bit of cooking the chicken and make chickpea curry! The sauce is to die for.
I made chicken curry with boiled rice.
