Are you kidding? Eeker Not in this lifetime!

You wouldn't have known a moment's peace worrying your guts out about her. And with good reason, from what you're saying about her flaky Dad.

just getting non friend/familys view Thumbs Up

Are you saying you don't like me?! Mad Laugh

You don't need anyone's view. You've instinctively got it bang on yourself Nod You know what's right for your daughter and, from what I've seen, you seem to be a brilliant Mum.

Just get her a little something nice (in a few days) to make her feel guilty for ignoring you Laugh

Because you are telling her that they are both bad people, but you chose to have an intimate relationship with them and had a child with one of them- her dad

I'm not saying that either of their behaviour is acceptable, far from it, or that you should allow her to go on holiday with them, just that it must be confusing for her, sorry if you don't want to hear that

Just that she's only 15 and she knows that her mum 'loved' them enough to have a relationship with them and to have her as a result of one of those relationships...that's pretty hard for kids to get their head around, especially when coupled with coming to terms with the fact that half of her blood line is nasty/selfish/violent

No, the inference is that half of her identity is this nasty/selfish piece of work ..pay no heed of that at your peril

Really...well it didn't read like that.
my Pay no heed comment was aimed at your reply..not that Aimees Dad is a arse..cos we all know that.

Yes, I was perfectly aware of that....and my reply was about the fact that no matter how much of a shit her dad turned out to be to Aimee that, at a crucial stage of her daughter's development and identity formation, she has to make sense of all of that whilst knowing that he is 'half of her'

Which I'm sure Aimee is well aware of..and the other chap?
you seem to have backtracked a bit there because you started out by saying she chose to enter a relationship with these men and so they must have been okay at some point and then they weren't thus confusing the daughter and then when Aims said she hadn't introduced the 2nd chap you then concentrated on the violent dad.

FGS I'm not backtracking at all..her dad was and is the most important hence the emphasis. The other guy is important in that her mum chose to have a relationship with him and he turned out to be scary. I never said either of them were ok at any point. I'm trying to say, (obviously not very well!) that her mum made a judgement that they were ok and then found out otherwise..surely that makes a 15 year old at her stage of identity, trying to make her own decisions, somewhat confused?

I agree with what you are saying..but your first post did not make that clear hence Aimees confusion...and possibly a misunderstanding.
