I'm staying here (oh no I hear  you cry!!).

I joined C4 forums back in 2008 and thoroughly enjoyed my time there.  Had to search for GaGa when I got a computer back last year, but have been here ever since and really like it, a good community and loads of laughs and also a lot of kindness shown towards FM's here.

And the footy thread, who could ask for anything more!  PCE, it's lovely to see you back BTW.  We talk about loads of things here apart from BB, Strictly and I'm a Celeb and X Factor.

Nicely said PinkBabe.
I particularly agree with your remarks about the kindness and generous spirit which prevails here. (Sadly these things are too rare on many forums.)
I think the warm attitudes are a genuine reflection of the people in this forum.
And not forgetting how we are nurtured and guided by our GaGa friends in Seattle, who play much more than a small part in maintaining a friendly place.
Nice post PinkBabe.

given that this gaga has many forums but I suspect (I may be wrong here so don't quote me ) that the majority of the people who post belong to the bb forum BUT....who hardly ever post about anything remotely related to bb.
Why don't you all just run a poll to name your fav that you can call yourselves and create a forum for just that.
Rid yourselves of the uneccessary dross.
Just my opinion.

Looking back, C4 was so censored and sensitive, I'm surprised anyone managed to express an opinion.
Although I never got banned from C4, I certainly found that some of my postings got removed for reasons which were beyond me. It felt as if we were being subjected to intense scrutiny and that they were being ultra sensitive. It was almost as if someone were to make a posting that they liked peanuts and I replied saying that I don't like peanuts, that that would be regarded as argumentative so deleted. It's a relief that here we are treated as adults and free to say what we want within sensible limits.

I joined when BB was not on and I am so glad I did I had a lovely welcome and got to know everyone much better than I would have done if I had joined whilst BB was on,as much as I cant wait every year for BB to start I much prefer the forum when it is finished,I dont think I will ever forget that day I logged on to CH4 forum and they said they were closing down.. BB never came to mind, all I could think about how much I would miss everyone, I was  so over the moon when GaGa opened their doors for us,this is a lovely tight community and we will definitely survive when BB finally goes off air for good

I have just seen this on the DS website - it is an interview with Philip Edgar Jones, a 'creative director' on Big Brother:
"As a producer on the show, you should always check all the places that people talk about the show. Channel 4 used to have a forum and Digital Spy obviously do the best ones, they always have done."
Well, I beg to differ Mr Jones.

Have you got your Launch night outfit pressed and ready?
Have I?     Oh Baz
Blow me down Baz - you are not going to believe it. You will simply not believe it!
And all thanks to your inspiration and advice.
You are going to be so proud, maybe even jealous.
I shall, without a doubt, outshine every one of those housemates.

LOL.. ....But judging by some of the blurbs, outshining some of those won't be hard

I got bopped from C4 for calling Wayne Rooney Shrek.....
With hindsight, I'm amazed I never got bopped. Although I was usually ultra-careful about tip-toeing through the minefield of "banned" terms, I had several posts blocked because I had cut-and-pasted direct from BBC news items. It seems that quite a few words and phrases that are deemed perfectly acceptable by the BBC were verboten on the C4 site...

Ooooooh I remember now, I logged back in to boast that I had been banned 6 times in total. They then banned me again for that to make it 7.
That's brilliant  I got bopped for expressing disgust when another FM had a thread about sending pics of her minge to some random on MSN. I used to be dead prudish in those days
