I don't think anyone would have accused Noirin of backstabbing if she had nominated Sree. She's had arguments with him, told him to leave her alone, etc. She doesn't want anything to do with him and we all expected she would nominate him.

From watching it, it seemed that his decision was a no-brainer for him. As soon as he knew the choice, he indicated that Noirin would be his choice.
Considering how he and Angel were the two prepared to support her, when she was really fed up about it and talking about her hunger strike, I do think it was genuine generosity, as opposed to self serving.
Oh, and I don't think even Sree supporters would have been surprised, if she had nominated Sree!

Can't believe anyone would even dream of defending Noirin now. And as for saying the OTHERS nominated him too... so what? THEY weren't given a massive favour by Freddie like SHE was. Do you really think he's that cunning to think like that?
Remember, Norin is the gameplayer (even her fans admit that) not Freddie, if he was playing a game he wouldn't be the way he is and standing up for what he believes in.
