it was "rhythm of the night" by corona and it was on cassette tape.

Mine was Life on Mars by David Bowie, and I still have it along with most of the other singles I've bought over the years.

Mine was the very uncool first Wet Wet Wet album, I think.

I got my 1st CD player in 1992 and I bought 2 CDs at the same time - Seal's eponymous debut album and Michael Jackson's 'Dangerous' (just before he went a bit doolally). Sha-mone!

Mine was Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds, I bought it when I was 7. I still have the original LP and hubby had the CD before we moved in together.

it was a 45 ....my Dad bought my mum a record player for her birthday and he gave me some money to buy a single.

I didn't buy it but it was free and my first CD ever Bon Jovi, when I went to see them in concert in Birmingham . Does that count even though I didn't buy it, I don't have it as the stupid CD machine wrecked it when I got home from the concert was so gutted .

Pretty Woman by Roy Orbison and it was probably about 1964/65 and somewhere I still have this record. I wonder if it is worth anything?

The very first record I bought was a 7 inch single, Guitar Tango by The Shadows. It's probably still in the house somewhere.

Mine was Barry Manilow - Copacabana, and I had to sing it, as the shop-owner did'nt know it ahh bad times!,

The VERY first record I bought was Star Trekin' when I was a kid. Don't have it now though
