Is a bit pricey at ÂĢ90... but there are others.

Leatherman Wave Multitool

I just looked at that and thought "oooh I need one of them" difference is I might use it. OH would just have it for the sake of having it Big Grin

I am a secret multi tool fan myself. And that leatherman has come in handy so many times.

Oh, since he got made redundant he has started to move into these area's too.

He bought a dutch hoe last week... after two weeks research. He is still talking about it... and when we go anywhere that sells them he likes to touch other ones and slag them off....

he has only used it the once in the garden though!

buy him a decent mp3 player instead of that apple rubbish, you can get some great, realy sophisticated ones from china that have easily expandable memory, play videos, play proper mp3's (dont apples drm infested crap) some even play games too.

take a look at some of the chinese places like dealextreme, focalprice or kaidomain all ship free to the uk.

(I am so gonna be in his good books!)

http://www.dealextreme.com/ but be warned there is something like 40+ pages of flashlight related stuff, however you can reduce the number by searching for "fire" or "assault crown" which is the big metal thing around the lens on the pic you gave. shipping is included so the price you see is the price you pay, all orders over $15 are supplied with a tracking number and for 1 cent extra you can add the dropshipping option which removes all company logos and info from the packing so it looks like it came from a person rather than a company (again a little more customs friendly). (again just search for it and add it to your cart)

its also worth pointing out that place is not quick so you could be waiting a month for it to arrive, however they are "customs friendly" when it comes to the values declaired Wink and they are a trustworthy place to buy from which is good to know when buying from china, their forum has a special section for flashlights so you can ask questions in there if you are unsure about anything.

you will find a lot of recommendations for them on the candlepower forums which is the biggest flashlight community (yes such things realy do exist, it suprised me too).
