Well.. like everything else, there may be the odd moan about the change of layout then everyone will get used to it.   Don't see me using the widgets (even if i knew what they were/what they did) as long as I can read and post, I'm fine.

BUT!!!!!!!!!      Can't we edit posts any more?    DON'T MAKE ME LEARN TO TYPE DAMN YOU!!!!

I think you can - the edit icon is still there - 4th icon on the left under your postings.

but...but...but.... I only have two icons on the left under my postings?        I'm also being reminded I don't have a modern browser though, so that might have something to do with it.

EDIT        I take it all back.   They weren't there last night.

yes I did wonder if it was only forum admin that could change things, but as the link was put in here to explain what the changes were I thought well maybe it would apply to us non admin people too, otherwise why put the link in if it means nowt to the average user.. ..

we can visually see the actual changes to the layout so we don't need to know about stuff we can't actually do ourselves surely..

Now I need to be made admin so I can get rid of the mess down the right hand side. .I keep wanting to get a cloth to wipe it off..

There , they're, their Suzy!

OK, I've probably lost track of all the questions unanswered, but I'll give it a try, and you can call me out if I've forgotten anything:

1.  Squiggle: hang tight on the images thingy. I see a support ticket in progress on our end, and I'll let you know what happens as a result.

2.  Performance in general is gonna suck until we figure out what is causing it. And we WILL figure it out, but in the meantime, I repeat: PERFORMANCE IS GONNA SUCK!

3. Yes, only admins can do widgets and whatsits. However, you got the link because EVERYthing was in that post.

4. Skylark: you upgraded to what, please?

5. *skips past editing buttons and widgets in beer cans*

6. *hands Olly a rag* Good luck!

7. And yes, all of these answers are out of order.

Sorry for the delay....I was locked out with internal server errors......I have managed to get here with Chrome, but Firefox is a no no Lori

See if a search on Google will help. I don't know which Windows you are using or which version of IE so this Google search may need to be refined.

cologne, I'll let El Loro help you, since I don't even use IE. I was on a test machine earlier, which is how I know that the menu items are reached via a gear or something on the right side of the page (not Gaga....any page in IE).

Kaytee, what do you mean "Firefox is a no-go"? What happens? (she says, from Firefox )

Lori

Two other quick notes:

The image issue mentioned by squiggle above is definitely a bug, and will be fixed in the next bug release (soon-ish?).

Also, the fact that some of you can't see all the smilies has been identified, and that should also be in an upcoming bug fix.  I'll try to let you know when that has been fixed.

Stop bragging....I get into Gaga and with a bit of luck into a thread, but when I post I just get the *server error*....but when it lets me back in again the posts I made are there. I get chucked off whenever I post....it'll probs do the same thing this time as well
