We did the music for our wedding, although we recorded cassettes back in those days. We had a nice medley of heavy metal, with just one concession to romance - Wedding Song by Bob Dylan. That was followed immediately by Flesh and Blood by Ted Nugent Big Grin It was by far the best wedding I've ever been to, and even the people who didn't like the same music as us agreed that it was much better than the usual wedding disco with bloody Hi Ho Silver Lining type crap Big Grin

Nothing to do with the wedding but reading these reminded me of a song i got played on the radio for my cousin on her 1st wedding anniversary....she was a 'country' girl, so i requested 'Satisfied Woman' for her. Unfortunately she arrived on my doorstep in tears just 3 minutes before it was played in tears... she's left him!!
When the song started on the radio everyone stopped.. she had a hankie at her nose... and we all burst out laughing!

Not that your wedding wil end that way!!! Sorry!! Just talking about songs reminded me of it Big Grin

Ronan Keating did a duet with someone (cant remember now) called " we've got tonight " ... is that the one you mean?

I'm not sure Confused I was actually working the wedding and remember at the time i'd never heard it before and it had such a 'haunting' (if thats the right word) sound. A few of us remarked on what a lovely song it was. Hug made us feel all gooey Valentine lol..... it was a few years ago now.
