6 ft (well it's about 5 ft and then has a tellytubby thing that stands to attention and pretends that makes it 6ft) but I put it on a wee table so it's nearly at the ceiling (started when the wee one was crawling and put it high so he couldn't reach but now just keep doing it).  Decorated (this year) in only gold and cream with a tiny amount of small balls in various colours.  The star is dangling off the top and I'm too small to fix it and the OH keeps saying 'aye in a while' but never does it.

Oh it has only yellowish lights on it, the run of the mill ones you can buy anywhere.  There are about 600 lights on the thing and you would think there was only about 200.

Flashing yellow lights on the window, they're a kind of net thing and are about 3 inches too short to cover the whole window (3 separate parts) so I've only put them on the middle one.  Wrapped some steady yellowish lights around the fireplace garland aswell.

The baubles aren't up to much either....and you should see the state of the tinsel......

  you been peeping too

Mebbe

I would take a peek but I can't find my specs

I don't think specs will help.  Try this.

Cinds

well firstly, it has to be a real tree. This year ours is about 6ft, decorated with silver attire. lametta , baubles and plain white lights.

Our tree last year was the best. I dunno what it is this year ? ... it's just not as up to scratch as I wanted it to be .... I may consider a colour change for next year. Perhaps a shorter fuller tree and decorated with gold attire.

We have excelled in tackiness this year.  In the corner of the dining room, in all it's naff glory, stands the musical snowing tree:

Obviously this has not gone down too well with Mr. C  so a more sedate, traditional tree is in the lounge. (I've managed to naffify the trees in the tv room, landing and on the stairs too

Please don't feel sorry for him; he's incredibly irritating at this time of year, so I've taken my revenge early.

How about Amazon, Sprouty?  They're good for cutting out the leg work at this time of year, plus they show alternatives

I've seen one on Play that might do the job Cosmic, but it's a tad expensive at ÂĢ68

Thing is Sprouty, you've got to look at it as an investment.  You'll be bringing it out year after year after year, so there is value to be considered in the long run.

Hark at me talking about investment and yearly useage!  That singing snowing tree won't see the light of day after this year

I had thought about one of those. I'm seriously thinking of ordering this (tis all your fault)   and if it doesn't come in time well I'll just put my other one up

Most online sites say if they can deliver in time for Crimble.

I think you're still in time
