Ahhh... I miss that one, it was a Big Brother special that. When some rough arsed cow in the house would waffle on about something they would always throw in that line.

It's more the gestalt with me. For example that which comes out of Melody and Jim's mouths. Meaningless drivel, concepts, and titles.

"at the end of the day"  really really gets my goat

"Do the math"  is american,  we would say do the mathS

think outside the box - why not say "think differently?

I think the 'much of a muchness' means 'all the same, but yes it IS an annoying saying too.'  But By and Large???  WTF does THAT mean?!
