Got no idea what it was called but I remember me and sister putting a ball in a pair of tights and then whacking it between our legs against a brick wall (usually to a silly rhyme)

I remember that too ................how odd - why did we do that sort of thing?
We also did the levitation thing where we all concentrated really hard and stood arond someone on lyining on the ground then tried to pick her up with two fingers.
Oooh and Ouija - I always used to push the glass but pretend that I didn't (it was a struggle as I swear others were doing the same ) I'm fairly sure that some of my old school chums believe in all that to this day - I was very convincing!

Mine was American Skippies. The trick was to do it with the 'ropes' cross legged
Then there was the two skipping rope thingie .................complicated but good.
Nothing really beats skipping though does it? Either on your own or with a person turning either end ..................................'Up the Missipippi if you miss a beat you're out' - 'I must not miss a beat' - 'Salt, Mustard, Vinegar, Pepper' and all that.
The thing is - how fit were we as kids? We'd skip all day every day .............................have you tried it lately? It's knackering!
