Not saying... but.... well.... til about 5 years ago! it was more a case of I had never thought about it too much as an adult (but I did feel very very stoopid when my husband was bent over double laughing his head off at me)

I was told that one - I love crusts, still do but my hair's dead straight. Plus, I was also told the one about thunder being clouds bumping into each other.

My husband was told if he cut his nails and one dropped on the carpet a tree would grow - for all his intelligence he believe this until recently, he's 52 I had a difficult time convincing him they are dead keratonised (sp?) protein.

My mother also told me girls shouldn't was their hair during a period - I hated that and would sneak into the bathroom and wash it quietly.
